Mastery can lead to flashy results—an incredible painting, for example, or a gem of a short story. In basketball, mastery might __3__ in an unbelievable shot at the buzzer. For a musician, it might be the performance of performances, the night when everything comes together. Often the result of mastery is a sense of profound satisfaction, well-being, and timelessness.
